An island, a lighthouse, a house facing the sea. Nathan, 40, returns every day, alone on this beach where he saw his life pass by to entrust his thoughts to the ocean. His father declines, his son wakes up, his couple wavers… Life passes, inexorable. Through a succession of paintings, moments of life, this show offers us a sensitive crossing of time that slips, between memories, fantasies and realities.
In a powerful solo, Pierre Tual embodies this journey through the ages of a man’s life, surrounded by a dozen puppets on a human scale. On a text by Manon Thorel, he unfolds a sweet and melancholy story and questions our relationship to time and existence. Morning and evening is an ode to tenderness and love, to the bonds that constitute us, to those who are accompanied from birth to death.
This show will be created in November 2025 at the Hourglass – National Puppetry Center in IFS. He will be on tour on the 2025-2026 season at the Théâtre – National Puppetry Center in Laval, at the Trident – National Stage in Cherbourg, at theEspace Jéliotte – National Puppetry Center in Oloron-Sainte-Marie, at the Halle Ô Grains in Bayeux, at the Forum in Falaise, at the Roger Ferdinand Theater in Saint-Lô, at the National Dramatic Center of Lorient, at theHectare – National Puppetry Center in Vendôme.
