Guillaume Hunout

Guillaume Hunout trained as an actor at Actéa, an acting school in Caen. He then studied directing in Belgium, at the National Institute of Performing Arts. There, he learned all the components of creating a show: writing, directing actors, set design, lighting, costumes, production… Discovering puppetry at the National School of Puppetry in Charleville-Mézières, he understood that this approach to theatre would allow him to do everything he loved, without having to limit himself.

Also a musician and composer – with his piano as his first partner – Guillaume evolves from creation to creation with many different teams. Sometimes as a lighting designer, musician, actor, puppeteer. And sometimes in the direction. He likes teamwork and bouncing ideas. He likes to work with amateurs, whatever their experience as long as in the end there is fantasy and a strong desire to create to share together.
