Pierre Tual is an actor, puppeteer, and director. At the National School of Puppetry Arts in Charleville-Mézières, he discovered that puppetry could transform him into an enhanced actor, and that by creating a double of himself, he could exponentially increase his interpretive abilities. He creates shows primarily for adults because he enjoys tackling challenging subjects. But he always does so with great tenderness and humanity. He works with living playwrights because he loves the spoken word on stage as much as the visuals.
After performing extensively throughout France and around the world, many artists have asked him to share his experience in acting, puppetry, and dramaturgy. He directs numerous shows blending acting, puppetry, and object theatre. He enjoys sharing his passion for acting and puppetry with all types of audiences, from amateurs to professionals, and sometimes even with those who are otherwise excluded from or distanced from artistic and cultural offerings.
