Guillaume Hunout trained as an actor at Actéa, an acting school in Caen. He then studied directing in Belgium, at the National Institute of Performing Arts. There, he learned all the components of creating a show: writing, directing actors, set design, lighting, costumes, production… Discovering puppetry at the National School of Puppetry in Charleville-Mézières, he understood that this approach to theatre would allow him to do everything he loved, without having to limit himself.

Also a musician and composer – with his piano as his first partner – Guillaume evolves from creation to creation with many different teams. Sometimes as a lighting designer, musician, actor, puppeteer. And sometimes in the direction. He likes teamwork and bouncing ideas. He likes to work with amateurs, whatever their experience as long as in the end there is fantasy and a strong desire to create to share together.

Mila puts on shows for children as she writes a poem, or as she draws a drawing. She likes to take her spectators on sensitive walks, where she invites them to contemplate landscapes and pay attention to small details that are not obvious but which tell a lot. She creates stories that are built by touches, leaving real room for the imagination of those who watch her. For this, she likes to go into abstraction, the absurd and surrealism. Her experiences as an actress have led her to experiment with numerous registers, for children and adults alike, with a particular taste for clowning.

Trained at the Puppetry department of the National Academy of Theater and Cinema in Sofia, Bulgaria, then at the National Higher School of Puppet Arts in Charleville-Mézières, Mila manipulates all types of puppets, objects, silhouettes or images with magnificent simplicity in her shows. She shares her pleasure of the game with different audiences, and more particularly with her privileged audience, children.

At the age of 21, Christopher Knight, an employee of a telemonitoring company, decides on a whim to withdraw from the world. He sinks into the forest and abandons his car. He will live there as a hermit for 27 years, flying in bungalows of vacationers for food, piles to listen to the radio, and books. His arrest by the police in 2013 put an end to his voluntary loneliness and plunged him into a new world that he only knows theoretically, where people no longer know how to live without a cell phone or the Internet.

The company à demain mon amour seizes this real news item to create a show intended for adolescents and broadcast in schools. To do this, they order the author Claire Barrabès so that she can produce text for an actor, models of landscapes and miniature interiors and CCTV cameras.

A woman sits at home in her comfortable armchair. She’s doing nothing special and she’s enjoying it. She observes the small details, cuts out a piece of paper, plays with her hands in the sunlight, and watches the shadows dance. Looking out the window, she sees the city, life, people. Suddenly, her imagination takes flight: it ‘s the beginning of a grand, motionless, joyful, and colorful adventure!

With this show, Mila Baleva creates a visual and plastic theatre that gives pride of place to the absurd and the surreal. To accompany her reveries, she uses the words of the author Sylvain Levey and the music of the singer Léonie Fer.

What passes by my window It’s a return to the essentials, a variation on the joy of being open to the world. In a world where everything moves too fast and adults are running around in all directions, this show reminds us of the simplicity of childhood happiness: marveling at almost nothing and playing at inventing the world.

Two solitudes, that of a man on the street and that of a teenager adrift. A homeless man who loses his memory as he sinks into misery. A lost teenage girl throwing herself from the top of a fairground wheel. An oversight and suicide. In a world that imposes speed, performance, competition on us, how do we do when we are not adapted? When we can’t do it? When we are alone and let us flow? And when the drama arrives, how do those who stay do it? How do we explain the inexplicable?

wrecks is the first solo project created by Pierre Tual. Composed of two contemporary texts, bag by Sébastien Joanniez and Juliette (continuation and end too early) By Sylvain Levey, the show speaks of loneliness and marginality, with the means of acting, puppetry and video projection.

A little man lives alone, well sheltered in his house. The sudden appearance of a strange and unidentified object in the sky pushes him to come out of his refuge and to conquer the city that surrounds him. From roofs to roofs, branches to branches and also passing through a carnival, our hero will end up in nature, in the middle of a hostile forest populated by threatening birds. Until he acclimatized to this new environment and finally finds what had pushed him to put his nose outside: a beautiful hot air balloon to discover the vast world.

In this show, paper silhouettes are manipulated in transparency on huge black and white photographs, thus mixing the theater of shadows, paper and images. The epic of the tiny protagonist makes it possible to approach the fear of what we do not know and the courage it takes to go on an adventure. And remember that the main thing to be happy is at your fingertips if you consider things right.
